OUR NEWEST LITTLE MIRACLE - JOEL GREGORY JAMES CONDON
Joel was born on Friday 24th February at 10pm. He was 8lb 4oz : our heaviest yet.
He is a little record breaker already. Not only was he the heaviest of the 3 boys, he was also born the fastest (2 hours). I am taking the credit for that one, mind you. Joel is also the only baby we have had WITH hair : and quite a good deal of it too. Although he was late, he decided he that would be a little more responsible and only wait 6 days longer that he should have. The other boys were 11 days overdue. I can see we might have to do some real work with these 3 to teach them the importance of being on time for an appointment!!
Matthew, our 4 1/2 year olds first response , was "Mummy, Joel has a big round head and dark hair, just like I asked God for!! Daniel, our 2 1/2 year old, is Joels second mother. His self appointed task is the official burper. "I do it" he yells and pats Joel so gently that NOTHING is going ever going to happen. HE is the one that makes all the burping noises, though.
We are all really well and getting used to chaotic family life again with a newborn.
